The Long Haul Legends (or ‘Laggards,’ as the case may prove to be…) are an Anglo-Kiwi collaboration of forty-somethings who are looking to channel their midlife crises into a productive endeavor. The team will take on the arduous challenge of walking 100 km through the mountains of Gangwondo covering a total elevation of around 5,000 meters!
Team members are:
• Rob Wilkinson (England)
• Rickie Ball (England)
• Malcolm Luke (New Zealand)
• Nick Goodman (New Zealand)
The team is equally excited and daunted by the prospect of trading their natural weekend habitat—the mean streets of Yongsan-gu—for Gangwon’s undulating wilderness.
Most importantly, we are all motivated by the prospect of raising funds for a great cause. All messages and donations will be very gratefully received, with 100% of the funds going directly to Oxfam’s worthy causes.
